सरफ़रोशी की  तमन्ना अब हमारे दिल में है
देखना है ज़ोर कितना बाज़ु-ए-क़ातिल में है
वक़्त आने दे बता देंगे तुझे ऎ आसमाँ
हम अभी से क्या बताएँ क्या हमारे दिल में है |

ओ रे बिस्मिल काश आते आज तुम हिन्दोस्ताँ
देखते कि मुल्क़ सारा क्या टशन में, चिल में है
आज का लौंडा ये कहता हम तो बिस्मिल थक गए
अपनी आज़ादी तो भइया लौंडिया के दिल में है |

आज के जलसों में बिस्मिल एक गूँगा गा रहा
और बहरों का वो रेला नाचता महफ़िल में है
हाथ की खादी बनाने का ज़माना लद गया
आज तो चड्ढी भी सिलती इंग्लिसों की मिल में है |

    agr yahi dimag kisi poem ko bigadne k bajaye kisi achchi or nayi poem likhne me lagaya hota to jyada achchi poem likhte..
    it is one of the poems which were the inspiration of our freedom-fighters…so plz have some resect for those poems n dont try to spoil their meanings…it will show ur respect for ur nation also…hope u’ll understand…

    • No problems at all..
      But actually I think this particular poem (from Gulal) is a great piece of satire.
      A work of satire does not necessarily mean it is going to malign the original literature, rather it reinforces it.
      The author here does not intend to disrespect our freedom fighters. Rather he is trying to tell us how our present generation doesn’t care how we got our freedom and how the basic values of the freedom struggle are getting lost.
      This time I hope u’ll understand 🙂
